Mount Lofty Adventure Hub
A web of bushwalking trails through stringybark forest and gullies linking Mount Lofty, Waterfall Gully and the wildlife park.
Cleland Conservation Park wraps the eastern face of Mount Lofty in a generous spread of native bushland, threaded with walking trails of every length. From short loops near the summit to the long climb up from Waterfall Gully, there's a route to suit most legs.
The forest is classic Mount Lofty Ranges country - stringybark and blue gum, fern-lined gullies, koalas dozing overhead and a constant chorus of birds. Spring brings wildflowers; autumn, a softer light through the canopy.
The park also takes in Cleland Wildlife Park, so it's easy to pair a morning walk with an afternoon among the kangaroos and koalas.
