The biodynamic & organic Hills
The cool, green Adelaide Hills have become one of Australia's hotbeds for organic, biodynamic and natural winemaking — and for ethical food more broadly. This day strings together the producers leading that charge.
The plan
Start high on the ranges with a biodynamic cellar door, then drop into the Uraidla and Summertown area for natural wine and seasonal cooking. Visit a working organic dairy and a famous botanical farm to round out the day. Much of the tasting here is by appointment, so book ahead and build in time to talk philosophy with the makers.
