The village of Mylor makes an easy launch point for some of the central Hills' most relaxed walking. The famous Heysen Trail passes nearby, and shorter loops thread through native forest and along the upper Onkaparinga River, with plenty of birdlife and dappled shade.
Mylor itself is tiny and charming, with a general store and the nearby Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary, so a morning walk pairs naturally with a coffee or a wildlife visit afterwards.
